Mise-en scene 

 As we can see from this image , the opening sequence  end of  with 3 little girls running   towards  a park when  suddenly the scene moves to an empty swing . This part of the scene create tension and rhetorical question to the audience as they don't know what's  next.  Just from the first opening sequence we can emphasis that Arlington road creates  mystery atmosphere as it doesn't tell us straight  away who is behind this mystery .

Camera 

 movements is very important .  Watching the opening sequence I have  emphasis lots of camera movements  for instance: a very fast speed  in the middle of the sequence .  This fast speed emphasis      a sense of terror , and almost make you fill like you are  part of the  scene as it's driving you  through different places.

 Sound 

• Sounds plays  a big role in every type of thriller. The reason why is because  it helps and lead the audience to understand  that something is about to happen .

• For instance  the was a dietetic sound usage in this movie  whenever the was  an action presented in a scene . In this case the usage of dietetic sound was to emphasis heavy scene for example when the  person  was running from the killer. The was this heavy breathing  which was used to intensify scene .

•  The was this type of high tension   which create a high contrast to the silence which it then  created tension for the audience. 

Editing 

• Dark colours are seen in order too emphasis the darkness behind things.
•   Another  editing  technique this  movie  used is quick editing this was because they wanted to create tension  to the audience by informing the that something is about to happen.
